Theodosia Ntokou is The Founder and Artistic Director of the China Music Series which will take place from the 3-7 November 2021 at Guangzhou Opera House in China, in which wonderful music personalities from the international standing will be participating. Couple of Theodosia's perfomance highlights in 2020 include her performance with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Cadogan Hall under the baton of Alexander Shelley and her invitation from BBC to be on the Live Show "In Tune".
In April, Martha Argerich and Theodosia Ntokou will be opening the "Festival Pianistico Brescia e Bergamo" of Italy. Later in June Theodosia will be performing at "Les Coups de Couer" at the Chateau de Chantilly in Paris, where she will be joining Martha Argerich, Mischa Maisky, Maxim Vengerov, Thomas Hampson, Iddo Bar-Shai, Sergei Nakariakov and Stephen Kovacevich among others, for a weekend of chamber music. After that Theodosia will be performing at the "Martha Argerich Festival" in Hamburg together with Tedi Papavrami and Alexander Kniazev. In September Theodosia will be travelling for her Tour in China together with the Thüringen Philharmonic. Another highlight in 2020 is the recording of a Beethoven CD together with the celebrated Martha Argerich which will be released by Warner Classics. The friendship, mentorship and guidance that Theodosia received from the legendary pianist Martha Argerich, since they first met in 2009, has been a great inspiration and has led her to new paths in her career. Martha Argerich has spoken about Theodosia as an «Excellent, extremely talented, enthusiastic musician and a brilliant pianist with a very generous temperament. Theodosia has received as well coaching by the famous pianist and conductor Daniel Barenboim over the last six years. Theodosia has performed in many Festivals such as the "Festival Pianistico Brescia e Bergamo" in Italy, the "Sagra Musicale Malatestiana" in Italy, the "Progetto Martha Argerich" in Switzerland, the "Athens & Epidaurus Festival" in Greece, the "Martha Argerich Festival" in Germany, the "Carloforte Music Festival " in Sardinia and the "Les Sommets du Classique" in Switzerland among others. The Greek pianist Theodosia Ntokou, gave her first solo recital at the age of twelve and went on to graduate with honors from the National Conservatory of Athens. She continued her studies with Hungarian pianist Laszlo Simon at the Universität der Künste Berlin and simultaneously received her Postgraduate Degree from the Franz Liszt Academy of Budapest. Theodosia completed her Master's Degree with Russian pianist Oxana Yablonskaya in New York and went on to earn her assistantship at the prestigious University of Hartford and The Hartt School.
Theodosia Ntokou is the 1st Prize Winner of the "Young Artists International Piano Competition" (2006) and the "Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition" (2007), and she has received the "Evelyn Bonnar Scholarship Award".
