Gili Schwarzman

Internationally acclaimed flutist Gili Schwarzman performs as a soloist at the most prestigious stages in Europe such as the Musikverein in Vienna, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London and collaborated with orchestras such as the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, the Israeli Chamber Orchestra, the Berliner Camerata, the Valencia Symphony, Das Sinfonie Orchester Berlin, the Potsdam Chamber Orchestra, the Hulencourt Soloists in Brussles, the North Netherlands Orchestra, the European Symphony, the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra and the Iventus Orchestra among many others. As a chamber musician, Gili Schwarzman has participated regularly in many prestigious festivals such as the Salzburg Festival, the Lucerne Festival, the Jerusalem Chamber Music Festival, Musique a l’emperi in Salon De Provence, the Zagreb Chamber Music Festival and the Rolandseck Festival. During that time, she shared the stage with wonderful musicians such as Daniel Barenboim, Alisa Weilerstein, Yuja Wang, Lisa Batiashvili, and Emmanuel Pahud among others. For the past three years, Gili Schwarzman has been regularly touring with the chamber music group of the Berliner Philharmoniker. Gili Schwarzman's performances have been recorded and broadcasted by radio stations such as the SWR, RBB, WDR Deutschland Radio Culture and BBC. Her new CD was released in 2019 by Pentatone Classics which she recorded together with Alisa Weilerstein, Amihai Grosz, Guy Braunstein and Susanna Yoko Henkel, featuring arrangements of works by Dvorak, Wolff and Beethoven. During the years 2007-2012, Gili Schwarzman has been a member of the “West-Eastern Divan Orchestra” under the baton of Maestro Daniel Barenboim.
